Hey everyone

So to help gain myself some experience with hands on work while at university I thought I'd take apart my old WTP 60 engine, give it a once over and try to get it started again.

I've ordered a new ring as the old one I believe was the cause of low compression which was the issue it had.

All of the engine components seemed fine apart from the edges of the piston which has pitting all the way around.

Do you know what could have caused this? Also if you know anything about these engines and getting them running again it would be appreciated!

Many thanks
