the most important thing when it comes to testing is to be able to string laps together that are withing a tenth of each other and to know that any improvement or otherwise is solely down to a change made on the kart and not through any erratic driving

stable conditions are needed for this.the most difficult conditions ive found for testing are in the rain as its not often you will find a steady fall in rain from one session to the next and so its always a guess as to wether the change you made made the kart quicker or if there was simply a little less rain falling at that time
