Gonna have a crack at painting my lid as now have an old one to practice on first.....just a couple of questions.

1. Chris you said you used the plastikote stuff.....do you mean the pots of paint used in a compressor or the aerosol cans? Are all the colours/styles fine or do i have to be carefull with them being bad for the shell of the helmet (I noticed theres some flurescent and metallic styles). Was the finish ok?

2. Im guessing it is ok to do on a 'plastic type' helmet (OMP Veloce)

3.Do i 'sand' the helmet lightly first and then apply the layers! primer, colour, clear layer.....(Im guessing there the layers needed)
