Ohhh.... be fair David....

I have been having karts scutineered for 35 YEARS at least and have found scrutineers unfailingly HELPFUL! Damn it, they WANT us to race! If we didn't, they'd have nothing to do!

Yes, they can sometimes be a bit silly but 99.99999% of the time, they have been FANTASTIC!

The only time I ever really objected was when they sent me back for arriving with a dirty kart! At the time, I thought they were wrong but experience has shown me that they were NOT! I could not (and nor could they) have checked a kart for cracks and damage that was covered in dirt and oil.

A good leasson, DArkcat, is to make FRIENDS with the scutes! You will meet them MANY times!
