Hi David, thx for the replies!
This weekend he has been fairly stable, with .5 a sec on most of his lap times each session!! Some sessions were slower because we were trying a different setup on his kart! We seem to have found the setup for his driving style on both wet and dry now..
As for being close to the top guys, I would say after the first 3 / 4 laps you will see a 6 kart length gap!
On one of the last meets, I had him really high around 22 / 24, to try and get some heat into the tyres, and the last 4 laps of a 12 lap final he slowed down by close to 1sec...
Do you think I should just try him really low and work my way up, what would be the most that anyone would put into SL3 tyres?
Thanks again.
