why not ask the drivers how much lead they are using then use this as a guide as to how much to drop the amount of weight for the class.so if say average the drivers were using 15 kg why not drop the class weight by 10 kg for example.

chassis weight inserts into the chassis rails would be a good idea but this way weight can only be put at the back of the kart where the open rails are.

just a thought
