but he still took a large short cut, gain 4 places, and took 2 drivers out of the race. Something should have been done or it sends out the wrong message out. So reading John's post any drive can cut the track once. I dont think so. the rules state a 20 second penilty if you leave the track and gain an advantage. WHY was this not handed out. May be because it was a very local lad. I really unerstand it was an accendent how it happend but he gained a very large advantage, took out 2 drivers that were infront on him and were faster then him and made up places. If he had took out the leaders and won, would they have only knocked him back 2 places.???
