I think your son might have trouble making the weight in cadet karts. The top weight for a driver in Comers is around 39-40Kg. If I'm doing the conversion right then your son is 46Kg. Not sure about Honda or WTP cadets but I suspect that your son would be a few Kg above the minimum weights here as well.

You may need to consider junior TKM, minimax, or some other Junior class depending on what your local grids are, as suggested in the other replies
