We must have had the worst set of tyres ever at Super 1 Buckmore which may well cost us the championship as we were hoping for a good result at our local track.
I don’t blame S1 in any way as its luck of the draw with the tyres, but a set that’s half a second off the pass and makes the kart handle like a pig is not good.
I went back to the circuit the following week to prove to myself it was the tyres, tested a new set a used set and the duff set with another driver and it proved it was the tyres.
With ever body complaining about the tyres may be the powers at be will have to take notice as championships need to be won on driveability not because of a good set of tyres.
