First of all i hope all 3 drivers are well and will return to karting as soon as possible. Secondly before the accident i remember looking at the zipkart involved and thinking, that is one good looking kart and dont recall the nosecone showing any signs of damage before the race. The MSA say a damaged nosecone may contribute to the ramp effect but i dont think this one was damaged, which makes me think why are they not made to have a flat front.
Again, i saw the accident as i was waiting for my kid to go out in tkm and it was a baddy. I would like to wish all those involved a speedy recovery and hope the cheque books can repair the karts in time for Shenington.
