We did, it was called 100cc and it was killed off by what we have today... 3 single engine formulae... two of which are struggling at club level in many parts of the country. An attempt to recreate what you suggest in the form of KF has more or less failed from what we can see.

Kartists voted with their feet to get us where we are today and I guess we need to follow their lead. If you do anything other than give people what they want, you're on a hiding to nothing.
