"I understand the restrictor is the better way to go"
I suspect this is the answer why it applies to super 1. Can you imagine the furore if there was a built in advantage for lighter drivers?
For me, the question should really be why is it acceptable that the restrictor IS a better way to go? And why is it alright for it to go on at club level? And how many young people is it stopping from competing in tkm super 1?
Don't get me wrong, I think the regulation changes as a whole will be excellent for the class. The route they have generally taken is fantastic.
However, I think it's becoming quite clear now that the 144kg route is an advantage and talko need to sort it out (and I've told them so).
