I have just come over from an old trulli (OTK) kart to a 2010 Gillard 010B in Snr Rotax.

As you would expect it is taking a while to get use to the new kart as it is a mile away from the old Trulli kart.

However I seem to be having massive problems with the brakes on the Gillard. There seems to be no middle ground, they are either on or off. When I approach a corner I have to break earlier the kart moves around alot and I am unsettled throught the corner which in turn gives me a slow corner speed and slow exit.

With my Trulli, I used to be really hot on the brakes and could maximise the corner.

I have asked around to find a solution but too no joy. Someone has mentioned buying new pads and fileing the edges down? Has anyone heard of this before? If not is there alternative discs or pads that can help my problem?

Thanks in advanced
