I understood what you meant too. One point to check that may have been overlooked is the steering column ball joint position at the bottom of the column. I do not know what make of chassis you have but if the chassis mounting for the column is made from two tubes that come from the front rail and converge at the bearing, it is possible that it got shunted to one side in the accident by the track rod failing to bend immediately. You can get the kart perfectly lasered up with the stub axle yokes in perfect alignment but because the bottom bearing position is not central in the chassis, it alters the 'ackermann' effect. It is worth a check. But remember, I do not help anyone, apparently.
