I can confirm new brake fluid is being used.
The pads on the caliper are brand new, with very slight wear where they've been applied.
The disk is used - but was fine with the old brake caliper.
When the brakes were 'bled' the caliper was removed from the chassis and put lower than the height of the brake m/c.
I can not see any loss of fluid, and when the top is removed, the fluid is still full.
