we raced at llandow today and whilst being scrutineered we were told that we could not have any lead fixed to the seat on our kart. we are running an iztech carbon and aramid seat. we had 3kgs on the bottom of the seat and 2 kgs on the back. i questioned the scrut on this matter and he said that the seat was too thin to carry the weights. we then had to fix the lead to the floor tray as i had no time refix the lead to clamp on the chassis. i was just wondering wether anyone else had come across this and if it is a new rule when did it come in.
