Ok thanks for all of your advice,we are looking to go minimax from cadet next year and those of you that have actually done it will know its a lot more physically demanding on core and upper body strength so was just after some advice on building those areas up.I was not thinking of putting him through an Eastern Block training regime and thought using a low weight of 1kg would have of been ok in moderation!
