when i said mentor i was really thinking about someone to hand hold the novice through where to pitch the tent, where to put your awning, where to park, where and when to go to scrutineering, briefing and make sure they are in place on the grid in time for practices and race etc. The mentor shouldnt have to show someone how to setup and drive, apart from say the veryu basics such as,,,,,this track favours tyre pressures on the very low side if its above 15 degrees C or, you may find a bit of toe in helps with this track because of turns 3 and 4 or watch out for the kerb on the exit of the 2nd chicane etc etc just simple stuff.
