Crossing the channel shouldn't add an insurmountable cost to International events, as I'd have thought for a team anywhere in Northern Italy travel to the UK would maybe be less expensive than the trek to Campillios or Braga! And for teams in Northern France, Belguim or the Netherlands it would be much cheaper!

Is Snetterton 300 a CIK circuit now? I think it was on the provisional Euro Superkart calendar for 2012. As far as circuit standards go Nutts Corner in Ireland is getting close to PFI and is streets ahead of the majority of UK circuits plus the new circuit at Whiteriver Park could easily get there but S1 competitors weren't all keen on ferry crossings so no chance of Euro races there!
