When Ian Moore (my hubby)and I helped to organise the GP at Silverstone, with Chris Norman, We had 250E's with full grids and other classes of 70 plus. Those were the great days of Karting.

And of course, those Cadets that went around the made up circuit of Luffield. Jenson B, Lewis H,Daniel W, Ant D,Gary P,Niki R, Michael S (Ginetta Driver) and many good ones that now race in other Formula's of motorsport now.

Even though Ian and I now do a lot Motor race meetings, I can tell you now the Silverstone Marshals always looked forward to the Kart GP at Silverstone, it was one of the highlights of the year for them.

But it did run at a loss at Silverstone!
