Wildkart, your assumption that the 2012 chassis is softer than the 2011 is incorrect.
I also understand that the importer replaced your broken chassis with a brand new chassis at cost price without any query as to why or how the original one came to fail.
The comments re Ash Hand and Andy King in your first post are also somwhat wide of the mark and I suggest that you ask each prior to making statements that are likely to harm your case with any assistance you may need from the importer, who, if you have an issue, is normally happy to help.
Your new chassis has obviously sustained some kind of abnormal load in some way to cause it to bend. It would be interesting and indeed helpful to know in which way or where your new chassis has bent, it is just possible that there is a genuine defect however there are several hundered Dark knight chassis in currebt use without issue.
Some of the other replies here also elude to the CRG being 'difficult' especially at first but you did say that you found a set up and you were fast, which by definition is what we all want.
The problem that many new users encounter is that the kart is very sensetive to set up change with small ajustments making large changes in balance and given the way the ajustments are made on the CRG especially with regard to Camber / Caster ajustments all changes should be mininimal and singular then re test. Many users fall into the trap of multiple big changes and totally lose their way and handling balance.
Incidentally the current OTK chassis is actually softer than the current CRG. Nearly all of the top S1 teams flatbed each chassis after every day of use because they tend to 'move' during use to maintain performance.
Please reply with your comments and details of in what way your new chassis is bent together with the chassis number and I will try to help, if you have it the chassis number of the original broken chassis would be interesting too.
