there was never any doubt about the meeting going ahead when snow was forecast Ł1000 worth of deicer was fetched the snow plough charged up and a jcb ordered with a team of workers who started at 6am. in the history of the track only one meeting has been cancelled that was last year the pits and track were cleared but the medical team could not make it.
