Oddly enough, I applaud you, sir. You are doing EXACTLY what I believe that karters SHOULD do.

However, I trust you'll re-read what I wrote and notice that I DIDN'T 'attack' all S1 drivers, nor did I attack ALL the whiners who complained about the cost.

What I did (and DO) complain about those who DO have Iridium Visors, Spoliers and Helmet Paint jobs (etc.) who ALSO whined about the cost of tyre 'spikes'! That is that I find it unfair that people are willing to spend money on TAT but complain when they asked to spend LESS money on stuff designed to make the RACING better!

If what you tell me is true (and I have no reason to doubt you) then I hope you'll note that I CAREFULLY EXCLUDED you from my 'complaint' as you tell me you DON'T waste money on old tat!

Now be fair to me: do YOU know any of the 'whiners' who DO have any, all or other items of useless, expensive TAT who ARE complaining about the cost of tyre 'spikes'? Do YOU think THEIR (not YOUR) complaints are FAIR?
