I also passed my ARKS test there couple of years ago and I have a similar story. My Rotax would not start and it took me nearly half day to fix it - I totally missed the slot but Steve was very patient and made me very comfortable despite the situation and in the end I got it. Very nice chap, like you I would recommend any one to take the test at Rye House.
