Depends on the level you're looking at. I did seven races at Long Circuit in 07 and 08 andbarely spent over 5.5k.

7x races per year at £180 per race £2500
3x slicks per year at £125 £750
2x wets per year at £140 £560
Licence and Memberships £150
Race Fuel 25l at £1.10 pl at the time £385
Approx £800 spares and repairs
Travelling £300

Had a family friend who owns a motor parts shop who supplied oils and lubricants. Stayed in a tent or in the car if we needed overnighters. Learnt tracks in practice and Quali.
