If it's below 5c then a good lap time for the indi kart series is about a 38.5, that would put you at the front of the grid. If it's 10c and above then a good lap time is in the late 37's to mid 37's to put you at the front of the grid.
If you are around 1 second off this pace then you will be running in around 10th to 15th place (mid pack). If you are 2 seconds of this pace then you will be battling it out at the back.
I use an 81 sprocket, others will use slightly less.
Great friendly atmosphere, you will be most welcome whether you are running at the front of the grid or the back. Don't worry too much about the lap times, if you can get within 2 seconds then you are doing well.
