As one of the front runners in Honda cadet we spend a lot of time in scrutineering. This year we've had the timing checked at least five times, fly wheels off, restrictors, carbs, exhausts so many times I've forgotten, at least four 'bag of bits' scrutineering where we leave with two Tesco bags of engine parts. We race at the bigger clubs and they go at us all the time. Yes, occasionally there is a lighter touch but Honda is meant to be a budget class and having to take an engine back to a rebuilder every weekend is expensive. Considering how close the racing is in this class it shows how 'equal' the engines are. The T2 equalled the field and the podium at S1has never had so many different drivers.
