Gearbox karts do have that power, as did 100 National/Internationals (as were), KF1s, Aixros etc..

Without that power, how can lifting one wheel allow the OTHER wheel to spin more freely when it CANNOT 'spin' as you don't have the power?

One way to enter any corner is the 'Swedish', Rally Driver flick.... where for a left corner ypou first apply RIGHT lock and then sudden left lock which disconnects the rear and allows you to 'slide' through the corner on full opposite lock.... that MAY work for some but it is NOT the quickest. However, if we have a way to enter a corner on full lock or full OPPOSITE lock, it should be possible (and IS possible) to arrive at full dead-ahead steering.

Do a test for yourself:-

1) Remove your chain (unless you have a clutch)
2) Push the kart on a flat floor using ONLY one finger on the steering wheel to push. Set up properly, it'll roll easily..... if it doesn't..... you have a problem with your chassis!
3) Now apply a few degrees of lock and THEN see if you can push the kart with one finger....... you won't!

If you have ANY lock applied at ANY time, you are slowing the kart because of the lack of diff.. Thus the ideal is to take a corner with ZERO lock as you will produce the least drag in that condition.
