Moondog. That's daft. The white lines are a visual limit. The kerb doesn't have white lines BEHIND it so if you ARE allowed to hit the kerbs, how FAR can you go OVER the kerb: 1mm, 1cm, 1metre, 1 kilometre? If it's not marked then anything MUST be allowed!

I don't like kerb-use at all because as it's stupid (kart damage) BUT if we want to use the kerbs, simply paint the white line BEHIND the kerb (or over it, if that's what we want) but the 'enforcement' line would STILL be the white line. Everyone could SEE the limit of the track and there wouldn't need to be a different rule for straights than for corners. Everything would work: it just needs deciding WHERE the white lines should be!
