Matt is still in hospital , due to the injuries from the accident, and I am sad to say that he will not be returning to karting . A very talented young driver , only been racing for 8 months , who was very fast for the time he has been in the sport. He had Track position and was simply " moved " out of the way on the fastest part of the track. Kart destroyed, but more importantly, serious injury, to the point that his parents do not want him to continue if this can happen, and a driver that has caused all of this, goes unpunished !
This is not what we all sign up for ! This is not a good advertisement for our sport ! Hope you recover soon matt !
