If only it were that simple essex elite. I'll bet you that if clubs did take that stance then they will have the same small grids, albeit with longer races. There are too many classes, it really is that simple. In terms of racing there is virtually no difference between a formula blue and a tkm, or a rotax and an x30, but people have those choices so the grids are diluted. Allowing commercial classes to run karting has left us in this impossible situation and it could take years to squeeze that genie back into his bottle.
If you want lots of track time then get over to Llandow this weekend where I hear they are likely to have about 50 entries. I bet you don't.
