If the racing for buttons is similar to the PFI one then I recommend it whole heartedly for bambino and starter cadets. Loadsa seat time at a quality circuit for very little cost. When my lad was in cadets to start with we spent a full year at racing for buttons at PFI, every other week come rain or shine. It was a real good grounding and set us up for MSA racing and /or confirmed if we wanted to commit to MSA racing.
Do not go direct into MSA racing from scratch.
