There should be a form in your Blue book. Around page 128 there is the upgrade card where you get the signatures and around page 192 you should find the Licence Amendment Card.
I think if you upgrade now you may also have to apply for a new licence for next year so probably worth waiting a couple of weeks.
Best idea is to call the MSA licence department and they will advise you of best option. Not sure of the direct number but call on 01753 765000 and they will put you through.
