Having trawled through this thread the basic view seems to be divided between is it legal or not to use the kerbs.

The rules are simple the WHITE LINES DENOTE THE 'CIRCUIT' kerbs are outside this area, hence illegal!

A circuit kerb that actually gives you a penalty without the intervention of any official by deaign alone is surely the better route than bickering about the pros & cons of 'kerb crawling' and bothering over stressed clerks.

Yes it is possible and does exist, as more than one contributor to this thread can confirm.
