You will have to look to the circuits you will go to to check what class of prokart you can enter but I would guess senior prokart , preferably unmodified or it can get pricey to compete ...
Look for a very well built and solid kart to start with as it will be in the tyre wall several times , I would go for a BIZ kart , very robust , relatively cheap parts , you can always upgrade later if you wish when your ability out performs the chassis you have .
