There are handicaps available for various kart classifications. Lately, there have mainly been Bilands, Swiss autos and Senior Rotax's. A season's racing lead the organisers to believe that over 4.5 hours racing these 3 are about even and whilst Bilands and Swiss autos are quicker, they need more 'in race' maintenance (chain replacement etc.). If people with another kart format turn up often enough to get the data, then a handicap is created and points, race and overall championship wins are calculated / awarded on that basis. Ergo a pro-kart with a 12 lap handicap can beat a Rotax over 4.5 hours and the race can be won on the last lap! Join the fun, it's a great series.
