I have used a cycle repair kit in the past and then did hundreds of laps on the tyres in testing.

Biland tyres are quite soft and won't last as long as this but what is the worst that can happen? The repair doesn't work. It has to be worth a try.

Bead retainers are a normal source of leakage. PTFE or "o" rings will help but you need to keep a close eye on the seal yourself as leakage from this area can be quite small. Check tyre pressures every time you go out.
