+ 1 for the motorbike helmets.

YOu get a MUCH better range of view, having recently changed to a motorsport helmet the relative lack of vision is quite shocking.

The issue is that most m/c helmets are done to ECC standards which are not batch tested where as the old BS ones are. Unfortunatley although your Shoei and Arai are likely to not cut corners and continue the same standard other manufacturers may take the opportunity to design good helmets to get through and then reduce the level as they know that there is no more testing. Of if there was a batch error it would not be picked up till someone died
