I raced 100 Int (engine on right) and 250 gearbox (engine on left) for several seasons in the early to mid 70's when karts were a hell of alot louder than any now, having a virtually unsilenced 250 with twin open carbs about 15 inches from my left ear I should be pretty well deaf by now but I have sufferd no hearing problems even 30+ years later so there may be another cause for your problems now.
Add to the karting noise F1, & F3 pit and garage noise for most of the years in between everyone should have to post in CAPITALS for me to hear now.....CAPITALS... By the way, where is ITPRO?
