....I see that they have borrowed Bill Sisleys elastic tape measure, and are now claiming that its a 1200m track length. Back in the 70's, it was stated in the meeting programmes that the length was 770 yards, then later, 720m. Since then we have lost the pits hairpin, and gained it back in the middle section, and had that idiotic loop added off the back straight that cant possibly be more than 75m extra. Looking at it on google earth, it looks around 800m. Just put it all back as it was, thats the best plan!
