The damaged nose cone argument is mute. Nose cones can often be damaged at the start or even on the rolling lap, if they can then become dangerous then anyone suffering any nose cone contact would need to be black flagged to prevent potential accidents later on.
Properly conforming nose cones can take an anormous amount of stick before they represent any enhanced danger.
What a contrast today with the media fuss over a few minor accidents with push chairs, even if they are McClarens.
Once again I don't get why the MSA are dragging their feet on this, regardless of the personal loss, imagine the potential damage to the sport if a child is seriously injured or killed!
