If you have a Mychron 4 you can get a patch lead to power it from your battery and the Mychron will log your voltages throughout the day.
Even better if you can use Race Studio and download the info to a pc. you can then diagnose the problem by looking at voltages and engine speed overlayed on a graph rather than trying to remember where your problem appeared to occur.
