This all adds up to sharp practice on S1's part. The costs of the series for 2010 are no where near transparent enough.
They made a big point of saying that the costs for cadets will be less (implying less than 2009) as new slicks are only required in rounds 1,3 and 5, and then bump up the costs elsewhere seems really cynical. Also, why should cadets have to buy 25 litres of control fuel? I can run an entire weekend on less than 10 litres, including my generator!
Although we've registered for S1 I doubt that we will bother now - too much of a rip off.
Funny that I thought inflation was low at the moment, and the FIA / MSA was committed to reducing the cost of motorsport - what a joke
