Of course MSW, like Daytona, must earn money before spending it.

I hope my comment about the paddock at Rye being last for improvement did not come across as cynical. It definitely wasn’t meant to be. It was merely recognition of commercial reality and proper priorities.

Also, I see that my comment about the “access road” can be misleading. I did of course mean the speedway car park before the actual access road and assumed MSW have little control over this.

I fully agree, Alan and Chris, that MSW have done excellent work in producing a well-presented facility.

At Lydd the earn/spend conundrum is clearly in a different league, given both the starting position and the current economic climate.
