The minimum you will need is a bead breaker.

Now whether you can use a large G clamp or something to break the bead is something you will have to find out by trial and error.

Once you have the tyres loose on the rims, its all in the angles, get it right and its easy, get it wrong and you are fighting tyson.

I have a bead breaker and the lever which come as a kit for about £25, not quite as good as the tongs, but a lot cheaper and gets the job done just the same. You just need to be careful otherwise the rims get scratched.
