It is not a case of which is the best budget cadet helmet so much as when will one be available.
If you do a google search on CMR helmets you will find the Arai, bell and OMP which are all around the Ł300+.
The Duchinni is the only `budget' helmet i have heard of and will sell for about Ł150 but I don't know if it is available yet. The last post I saw was in mid August from Nigel Hughes (username of raceintructor)saying the Llandow kart shop was expecting them in but have not seen anything since.
Probably best to give them a call - don't know the number but you should find it if you go to the llandow website.
