Yep, the Vodafone USB dongle works fine on my notebook running Win 7.

The problem I have previously encountered (not tried it with Win 7, but under XP and Vista) is that the dongle no longer works after following the incessant prompts to upgrade the Vodafone software. There’s no obvious reason to so anyway: the basic software that installs from the dongle does the job.

What are you doing with a Windows notebook PC, Alan? That's not being true to your (religious?) cause.
