I've experienced both, and personally, while qualifying does appear to remove the mid-race accidents that come with slower drivers starting at the front, it doesn't get rid of startline accidents. You'll always have the idiots that load up the row in front, or the lesser experienced drivers piling into the back of someone outbraking themselves into turn one. Plus, drivers learn to overtake at club level starting from the back, so removing the necessity for the quicker ones to learn to overtake means when they're in a position where they need to, they'll just push someone off!
Punish contact driving and keep club level racing as is!
