In my view getting people into the sport is not the problem. Although until costs are sorted out it's virtually wasted effort because it's once they start and find out how expensive it is, they walk away again. The CMR helmet debacle is a perfect example, how many people simply walked away when they were told before they turned a wheel they had to spend £300 plus on a glorified BMX helmet? Yes I know there are cheaper options now, finally, but they are not exactly bargains either.
Perhaps a good start would be to ask the people who have stopped karting or are intending to, why? And what would entice them to stay?
I'll write a list shall I?:)
