When Super 1 started racing Honda Cadet a few years back the chassis to have was a Trulli which was essentially a Tony Rocky.

My daughter had one and it was good. The only difference was the permanent seat brackets were replaced by chassis clamps and seat stays to allow room for the bigger engine. Gearing change was no different to prokart and you simply use a single cut through the sprocket and manipulate it over the axle at the cut.
